T hi s Spider was all over o f an orange colour on the back, belly,
legs and feelers; on the uppe r fide o f the belly were a row o f white
marks from the back to the ta il; on each fide o f them was an, indented
ipeck, which in the hollow parts looked like two black fpotS. T he legs
were fpotted at the ends ; the feelers long and llender. It had eight
eyes Handing as they are exprefled in the copper Plate. It was taken
at Maidftone in Kent, about the middle o f Auguji. The fame kind
o f Spider was found in Cain-Wood.

T h e back o f this Spider was o f a dark orange colour, as were alfo
the belly, legs and feelers ; the upper fide o f its belly was lo finely mark’d
with hair-colour and fpeckled with white as fcarfely to be imitated in
painting; Its legs were lpotted; the feelers flender. It had eight eyes
placed as, in the copper Plate. It was taken in Cain-Wood, dh the
twentieth o f September.

T h e back o f this Spider was o f a dark afh-colour; the upper fide
o f its belly yellow, finely marked wkh green, and fpotted with flefh colour
; the legs were tranfparent and fpotted with black; thofe parts o f
the legs next the body between the fpots were red. Its feelers were
flender, tranfparent and fpotted. It had eight eyes placed as is ex-
preffed in the copper Plate. It was taken in a Hedge, near Hornjey-
Wood, on the twentieth o f September.
