part o f it light green lpotted in the manner o f flripes with black 5 the
feelers flender, and o f a faint green colour. It had fix eyes Handing as
they are placed over the head o f the Spider, in the copper Plate.

T hi s Spider was o f a pale redilh hair-colour ; its back formed in
a circular manner, from the middle o f which the head riles forward
in a bunch; the upper fide o f the belly was marked with lines and
ftrip es o f a dark hair-colour ; the legs and feelers were hairy, the latter
having pointed knobs at the ends; its tail was forked. It had eight
eyes Handing as they are placed, over the head o f the Spider, in tfie
copper Plate. I took one o f thefe Spiders larger and femething darker,
under the coping o f Hide-Park Watt, on the twenty fourth of A^guft,
N°, CXIX. '
T h i s ' Spider was all over o f a pale green colour* excepting a black
mark on each fide the back, and two marks of the lame colour on
the middle o f the upper fide of the belly. It had lomething o f the
refemblance o f the tick kind; it had globular knobs at the ends of its
feelers..' Tt was taken' in a Garden at Hackney, on the twentieth o f A p ril.

T he back o f this Spider was o f a dark muddy green colour; the
upper fide of its belly o f a dark green, with feveral black- marks; the
outer corners o f the belly next the back were knobbed, like feme o f
the wood bugs. Its legs were green and lpotted with black; the feelers
flender. It had eight eyes Handing as they are exprefled in the copper
Plate.. It was taken in a Wood near Lttjham in Kent, the ttventy third
o f Kjjfc;-".
