This pretty little plant is known by the appellation
of Angelina in many of our collections; it comes nearest
to P. pulchellum of the Supplement Enum. plant, but differs in several partitcou laWrsi;l ldween oswus’s
pect it to be of hybrid origin, but we cannot guess with
what species it may have originated. It makes a compact
little bush if properly managed, and produces
abundance of its pretty dark flowers till late in autumn,

in any light vegetable mould, or a mixture of loam and
decayed leaves suits it very well. Cuttings root freely
under a hand-glass, or in pots placed in a shady situation
