Fro n d s semipimiate, erect, len g th y , and smooth. Piuiiæ opposite,
or sub-opposite below, a lternate above; pinnate on one
side only of the p in næ ; decurrent.
Usual len g th from twenty-four to th irty -six inches. A plant
in my collection has fronds forty-four inches in len g th , th e lower
eighteen inches being naked. Kachis and stipes ebeneous, and
red d ish brown in colour; base slightly hairy.
Sori marginal and continuous.
