T he fronds, which are p in n a te , are ste rile, the pinnæ being
subpetiolate, oblique, cordate, oblong, acute, and se rru la te ; the
fertile pinnæ, which are contracted, are linear, very entire and
n arrow, and freq u en tly unilateral.
Stipes paleaceous.
Sori linear.
