T h e fronds, which are handsome, are glabrous and p in n a te ;
th e pinnæ lanceolate and petio la te ; base obliquely-truncate,
hav in g a cartilaginous se rrated edge, somewhat membranous,
and articulate with th e rachis. Slightly scaly on th e costa.
Fro n d s terminal, and ad h e ren t to an elongated creeping
rhizoma.
Veins forked.
Sori linear.
