Raised from spores in the Royal Gardens, Kew, in 1834.
T h e fronds, which are lanceolate in form, are p innate, the
pinnæ being adnate, d e cu rren t, rig id , rep an d , linear-lanceolate,
u n dulated, and with a spinulose-serrate edge, oblique, and about
eight inches in length.
Stipes scaly, and two or th re e inches in length.
Sori continuous.
Veins forked.
