Re ceived into the Royal Gardens, Kew, from the Royal
Botanic Gardens of Be rlin, in th e ye a r 1841.
F ro n d s glabrous, lanceolate iu shape, and p in n a te ; the pinnæ
linear-lanceolate, acute, petiolulate, and falcate, inferior pinnæ
hastate, supe rior sessile, and auriculate at the base.
Veins forked.
Stipes at the base scaly.
F ro n d s termina l, being adhe ren t to a creeping rhizoma.
Sori linear, medial, continuous or in te rru p te d ; margin of the
indusium fringed.
L ength from twelve to eighteen inches; colour pale green.
