A n interesting, erect-growing, evergreen stove Fern .
Na tiv e of Brazil and Mexico.
Raised from spores in the Royal Gardens, K ew , in 1833.
T h e fronds, which are lanceolate in form, are minutely
p ubescent and pectina te -p in n a tifid ; segments linear-lanceolate,
acute, somewhat falcate, and ra th e r membranous.
Base of the stipes scaly.
Sori linear.
Veins forked.
F ro n d s termina l, and adhe ren t to a creeping rhizoma.
L en g th of frond from twelve to eighteen inches; colour pale
green.
