Received into th e Royal G ardens, K ew , in 1834.
T h e fronds are slender, glabrous, and p in n a te ; the pinnæ
lanceolate and sub-falcate; inferior petiolulate, superior adnate,
termina l pinna elongate.
Rachis and stipes red , and slightly scaly near the base.
F ro n d s termina l, and ad h e ren t to a creeping rhizoma.
Sori linear and continuous.
Veins forked.
L en g th of frond from twelve to eighteen inches ; colour deep
green.
