rare in cultivation in this country.

T h e fronds are pinnate, and very symmetrical in form. The
sterile pinnæ oblong or lanceolate, obtuse, sessile, and superior
adnate. Terminal pinna elongate; fertile pinnæ approximate,
longer, very narrow, linear-oblong, and with the base auriculate,
P ro n d s glabrous, caudex coespitose, rachis squamnlose.
Sori linear and continuous.
