An evergreen erect-growing stove species.
Native of Mexico.
Received into the Royal Gardens, Kew, from the Royal
Botanic Gardens of Be rlin, in 1841.
Fro n d s glabrous, p innate, lanceolate in form, the pinnæ
mostly alternate, sessile, oblong-acuminate, and in some degree
falcate; inferior pinnæ remote; termina l pinna entire and caudate.
F ro n d s termina l, and adhe ren t to a creeping rhizoma.
Stipes scaly.
Sori continuous. Veins forked.
L en g th from twelve to eighteen inches; colour deep green.
