These sets, to Bell’s design, were in use in Teylers Museum. After 1889,
Meeuwig insÄed carbon microphones in them.
Meeuwig supplied the Museum with small parts and repairs
from 1889 to 1914. His shop was at 37 Gedempte Oude Gracht,
Haarlem.

The push-button calls the subscriber, the transmitter is fixed to the
board, and the receiver is a hand-piece that hooks on a lever switch to
