stamped: RUDOLPH KOENIG A PARIS. Forks have RK
monogram.

2. marked UT4, but overstamped 1016 VS.
The difference between the two is 8, therefore 4 cycles per
second.
1033 Resonance box (277 x 102 x 62) stamped:

1041 Resonance box (300 x 118 x 69) stamped:

251 Resonance box (205 x 104 x 67), with mahogany sides and a
pine top, has two forks wedged in simple holes in the top.
Both forks are marked A.

Overall height 340; resonator diameter 125, length 200
Black lacquered cast iron base holds a fork mounted on wooden collar,
the fork inscribed: UT3 512 VS RK, which gives the standard frequency
at 20°C. The brass resonator drum has a wide slit in the end facing
the fork, and a knurled knob at the other end. The resonator can be
moved on the base in a slot controlled by a key. Koenig (1889), 20, no.

233 Oak block (557 x 47) with bridge and tensioning key. Three
pine strips are mounted one above the other. Koenig (1865),
29, no. 178, 10 francs, Koenig (1889), 62-63, no. 177, fig. 86.
266 Oak and pine rectangular frame (310 x 120), with tensioning
key, to hold a wire.
1046 Oak base (447 x 75) with lip at the back to be held by a table
edge. A wire is held by two protruding pegs so that the wire
can be pressed down over a pair of knife edges (332 apart). At
the centre is a V-sectioned bar on a spring hinge that can be
brought down to the centre of the wire.
