S T EM shrubby, upright, and rusty ; the lard
and smaller branches are vvhorled, and utim
rous.
LF.AVES by threes, upright, blunt, flat out
upper surface, and channelled beneath.
FLOWERS terminate the ends of the small
branches, mostly by threes, hanging down; fm
stalks long, and coloured, with three floral lean
pressed to them.
EMPALEMENT. Cup four-leaved; leaflets
ovate, coloured, and pressed to the blossom.
BLOSSOM bell-shaped, and of a pale [turpi,
segments of the border are egg-shaped, s:
sharp-pointed.
