"The upper furface is ftnooth, and of a dark rediih brown; it
is thin and flexible,- but father tough.
The underfide is marked with divided and fubdivided veins,
whieh wMle the plant is young, give if much the appearance of
a fmall dimidiated paraiiti'c Agaric.- I have fcldom found it on
biyums upon old' walls y and I have received the fame from the
county of Durham,- where, I am informed, it is common on
thatched houfes.
