Superb plants, worthy of a place in every collection,
on account of their large showy flowers.
They require a mixture of sandy loam and
peat ; and cuttings, with their leaves whole,
will root in sand, under a glass, in heat. A
strong heat is necessary for them ; without

Some of the species are very handsome when
in flower. They grow in any common garden
