flowering plants, growing best in a light loamy
soil, or a mixture of peat and loam ; large cuttings,
with their leaves on, after being dried
for a few days, will grow freely in pots of
mould, without being watered. The plants,
when in a dormant state, must be kept dry,
otherwise they do not flower freely. Synonymes:
