This elegant moth, which not unaptly refembles an agate or a Mocoa ftone, is evidently
allied to P. fafcellma of Linnaeus, which it lhould immediately follow. The black curved line
running longitudinally fromthe bafe towards the pofterior angle of the wing is' its very dif-
tinguilhing chara6ter.
Cramer has figured a Phahsna, taken up alfo by Fabricius," V. 5. 16, by the-name of
achat'ma, which is algira of Linnaeus, though neither of thofe authors feems to have-been
