 workmanship than is usual in  such pieces ;  they differ but little  
 from each  other except in  size.

 The  two  hands  are  those  of  William  and  Mary  united  to  
 support the  crown  upon the  motives of mutual love  and safety  
 of  the country.  Two different pairs of  dies  were made to  produce  
 these medalets which, as well as the next one, are  supposed  
 to be patterns for farthings.
