This piece is of good workmanship, and was struck to commemorate
the election of the Count Palatine to the crown of
Bohemia, and his coronation. The five hands supporting the
crown represent Bohemia and the four Protestant provinces,
Moravia, Silesia, Upper and Lower Lusatia, by which Frederick
had been elected in opposition to the Emperor. The legend
on the reverse refers to the form of words used at the coronation.
