The reverse of this medal is stamped in imitation of
engraving.
All these pieces were executed in commemoration of the
Order of the Garter having been conferred upon the Prince of
Orange. He was elected to the Order 24 April, 1627, and in
the same month the ceremony of investment was performed at
the Hague.
