A species collected by Forbes in Eastern Sumatra (Herb. Forbes No. 3172)
resembles this closely. The specimens are in fruit only, and the individual cai-pds
being a little smaller and less obovoid, it probably belongs to a distinct species.
Forbes' specimens have no flowei-s.
