Gen. Char. Seeds produced within the substance of
the capillary or joitited frond, or in closed tubercles
united with it.
Spec. Char. Green, very much branched. Branches
alternate, clustered, pencil-shaped; the ultimate
ones directed to one side. Joints cylindrical, five
times as long as broad; their partitions pellucid.
