facing the hay of Lamlajh, faw,. on the road fide a cairn, of a dlfcl
rent kind to what I had feen before : it was. large, o f an oblonj
form, and compofed.like the others,.of round ftones ; but.alongthe]
top was a.feries o f cells, fome entire, but many fallen in;. each wil
covered with a fingle fiat ftone o f a great fize, ,refting on others dm
right, that ferv.ed as fupports; but I could not count them by reafonl
of the lapfe of the lefler ftones. Doitor Borlaje fays,, that in CmA
wal the number of upright ftones are three.; but in Wales they foffl-
times exceed that.number.
