because th e two elongated rectrices cross each other, and on account o f th e abnormal shape
of the spatul® a t the end o f th e t a i l ; b u t I do n o t consider these characters o f sufficient
imp o rffin ^ to wan-ant its generic sep.aration from the other Tanysipterce.
