I ’m s pre tty little F e rn lias only lately been b ro u g h t into
notice; it is not unlike Pohjpodium reptans in general ap p e a rance,
having slender weeping fronds. A somewhat ra re species.
Fro n d s erect and narrow-elongate-lanccolatc in form, being-
pinnate below, b u t pinnatifid and prolilerous above. Lower pinnæ
scarcely stalked, distant, deflexed, and obliquely subhastate;
central pinnæ oblong-obtuse, falcate, adnate, and scarcely sub-
liastatc; near the base slightly crenate-lobate, otherwise en tire ;
up p e r pinnæ shorter and confluent.
Bachis and the nerves beneath pubescent, with diminutive
forked hairs; b a rre n fronds more spreading, shorter, and the
pinnæ placed closer together. F ro n d s termina l and adhe ren t;
