Stipes and racliis brownish, and sunk on the superior side.
L en g th about two to three feet; colour a pale green.
Polypodium p u lv in a tum is best known aS the Phlebodium
pidoinatum.
I t has not th a t glaucous character of Polypodium sporadocarpum,
or P . aureum.
