N a t i v e of Mexico, Chili, and Brazil. I n the hot and warm-
temperate forest regions on the east side of Mexico. Schiede
found it at Ja lap a and Misantla; Liebmann gathered it around
Mirador.
Fro n d s bipinnate. Segments almost triangula r throughout
the frond, decrescent.
Rachis and stipes pubescent.
L en g th of frond usually from twelve to twenty-four inches.
Liebmann has specimens forty-eight inches in length. Colour
rich green.
