edge; cordate at the base, and subhastate. L ateral, being
adherent to a scaly creeping rhizoma.
Sori linear, medial, in some degree transverse, arcuate, and
continued across the ju n c tio n of two anastomosing venules;
eventually confluent. Colour brown.
Veins pinnate, curved, and almost parallel; conspicuous,
dividing the frond into a multitude of rectiline ar parallelograms.
L ength of fronds from six to twelve inches; colour a dull
green.
