Veins external, elevated, prominent, compound anastomosing,
and forming quadrate areoles.
Stipes, racliis, and prima ry veins a pinklsli brown.
Sori oblique and uniserial, brown, oblong.
L en g th of frond from two to three feet; colour a hlue green ;
length of pinnæ about ten or twelve inches; wndth ra th e r more
th an an inch.
As soon as the present species can he procured, it should
find its way into every collection. I t will make a glorious-
looking exhibition plan t; unfortunately it may he some years
before we shall be able to see it in ordinary collections.
