Fro n d s glabrous, broadly lanceolate, pinnatifid, pinnules oblong
obtuse, with b lu n t ro u n d ed apices; pinnules opposite; frond
smooth, bluish g reen in colour; veins forked and anastomosing
angularly.
Ehizoma creeping, covered with brown scales, which are
d a rk e r in colour and narrowe r than in Polypodium latipes,
nor do they lie flat along the rhizoma as in th a t species.
Sori uniserial.
Rhizoma branched.
