Th^wood-cut on the present page represent „a beautiful Reliquary of the
twelfth^ .century, still; preserved in the Cathedral of%eroli, near Oasa Mare,
m I t a l y . ■ It is'made of brass, gilt,,, and ornamented-with a répétition of'what
a p p e a r s to h$ the letter R enamelled, tjàe top 'enclosing the relic being of glass.
