stream; came to Kitema village, thence crossed two
streams; arrived at Kizimbika; thence, crossing three
streams, came to Wusumbiri.

Uyofu village; thence, after crossing one stream, arrived at
Kaguru village. Passing southward of two cones and a
short craggy hill, crossed three streams, and reached Mtuyu.
Kijima Mount bears W.S.W.; Luhyeya Mount, S. S.W.;
Mikeweh country south of Luama, and is a tawny, grassy
country. Country from Kabungwe to Mtuyu very populous.
Westerly along the Luama, skirting a range of hills to the
north, whiclj bound the Luama valley in that direction.
Mpungu is the easternmost and most southerly settlement
of the Country of Uzura.
(-Proceeding westerly, crossed two streams, came to two cones,
nearwhich Webb’sLualaba was sighted, where the Luama river
entered it; thence turned N.N.W., crossing three streams;
left the Luama valley. We had crossed seventy-six streams
( flowing into the Luama since sighting the first source.
