A tree about 40 feet high: young branches, petioles, inflorescence and calyx
brownish scurfy-pubescent, ultimately glabrous. Z t m ovate-oblong, sub-acute, the base
rounded or su'o-ounoate, both suifaces quite glabrous, reticulate; main nerves 8 to 13
pairs, oblique, rather prominent beneath; length 3 to 5 in., breadth 1-3 to 2-5 in '
petiole -3 to -45 in. Sacma axillary, fcw-flowered, 1 to 1-25 in. long. Ftofnrs -35
t o -45 in. long. Cahjt-hki unequal, the two longer narrowly obloncr, obtuse' the three
shorter lancoolate-acuminate. Paah elliptic, slightly oblique, blnnt, glabrous' except the
