From 0. leptocarpum, B, and S., this species differs in the firmer plicate capsule and acute leaves ; from 0. Tasmanicum
and 0. speciosnm, Nees, in the very much wider leaves, not patent or divergeut from a suberect base,
having elongated nan'ow cells, but uniform in tlieir direction thi-ougbout their length, and composed of cells eveiy-
where minute and ronnd. The cilia, like those of 0. Tasmanicum, agree in substance, size, and colour with tlie
