a little Mexican plant, bearing some resemblance
to an olive, with the flowers of a Verbena and tbe
name of Daphne. Mr. Ilartweg found it in fruit
only, and sent it to the Horticultural Society's garden, where it has flowered, and proved itself^to
e a new eenus of VerbenacecB. See Daphne, for
