termina l and exserted. In d u sium conniving, forming a calyciform,
pedicellate, an d vertical cyst.
Sir W . J . H o o k e r, in his “ Species F ilicum ,” gives two species,
namely, D . pro life ra , H o o k e r, and I ) M atth ewsii, H o o k e r, the
la tte r not y e t in tro d u c ed in the living state.
