the pinniE trian g u la rly -e lo n g a te , acuminate, and membranous.
Pin n u le s oblong, p ro lb u n d ly p innatifid, having lin e a r dentate
segments; base d e cu rren t. F ro n d s lateral.
Veins forked.
Rhizoma sc andent, slender, le n g th y , and densely clothed with
narrow re d d ish brown scales, w hich cu rl round.
Rachis, midrib of pinme, and pinnules winged. Stipes slightly
hirsu te , brown below, gre en above, an d fluted.
L e n g th of fro n d twelve to tw enty-four inches, of wh ich the
lower six to e ig h t inches is naked. W id th of frond ten inches.
Colour lig h t green.
