T h i s maguificent species is a u n iv e rsa l favourite, wherever
grown or ex h ib ited it is certain to a ttra c t universal attention.
A large and rap id grower, easily cultivated, and re q u irin g little
or no care, p ro v id ed sufficient room is allowed for th e ex p an sion
of its fronds, an d the p lan t is lib e ra lly su p p lied w ith
water; all fast-growing F e rn s req u ire abundance of water,
most of th e large species growing wildly in moist and boggy
situations.
