A warm greenhouse species.
N a tiv e of N ew Caledonia and Malacca.
T h e fronds are dichotomous divaricated, th e branches be in g
p ectinate, the pinna; pinnatifid, and th e segments small,
orbicular-ovate, an d slig h tly concave. T h e pinna; tap e rin g
reg u la rly to th e ir p o in ts; the lobes not p ouched beneath.
Veins pinnate.
E achis h av in g a few ste llated hairs.
Branches ferrug in o u s, with a dense pubescence.
Ve in s indistinct.
Sori termina l, of th re e or four exserted deciduous capsules
or spore-casos, situated at the apex of a v einlet, punctiform,
and naked.
T his species grows to th e h e ig h t o f from two to four fe e t;
th e branches b e in g of a v e ry shining deep gre en colour.
