F ro n d s simple, b ro ad ly lanceolate, sin ua to-dentate, and pcn-
ninerved. Veins simple.
Stipes very long and slender.
llhizoma slender and creeping.
Sori marginal, th e w edge-shaped base su n k in th e Iro n d , the
other p ortion p ro tru d in g b ey o n d th e frond.
L en g th of frond six inches ; colour blo o d -red when growing,
h u t tu rn in g to brown in th e d rie d specimens.
