L ro n d s e rect, ovate-lanceolate in shape, usu a lly spre ad in g ,
elongate, glabrous, subcoriaceous, and b i-trip in n a tifid ; segments
approximate, forked, lincar-cu n e a te , and tru n c a te ; apex slightly
erose.
Rhizoma short and c reeping, woolly and caudiciform.
Stipes lengthy.
Sori solitary, or in p airs.
L e n g th o f fro n d from eighteen to tw enty-four in c h e s ; wid th
from four to six inches. Colour a grassy green.
