water, sothat-mu&i of the narcotic and acrid cfuklity o f the tobacco is
lost. .Inched tobacco is sometimes the smallest component paffcOf the
rhillimi, or substance stnoaked; coarse sugar, sa-lt, fcpices, and’ frequently
op*ium,’have a great sfiare in it.
