K e n n e d y ; is a h a r d y greenhoufe p l a n t , being lefs fubjedt to rot, after the decay of the leaves, than
a n y of its c o n g e n e r s ; flowers freely about J u n e , and is propagated by the r o o t ; the feed (fometimes)
r i p e n s likewife; Our figure was t a k e n from a p l a n t , whole root had been received at the Clapham
