the other, G. cuneata, in haying pale russet-hrown sub-terminal bars across the feathers of the
crown.
In size it varies but little from its ally in South Australia. Wing 5-3 to 5-1 tail 4-4 to
4-25 inches, culmen 1-28 to 1-2 inch, tarsus 1-45 to 1-35 inch.
The distant figure in the Plate of G. lunulata represents the present species. It is drawn from
an example in the British Museum.
