longer tail-coverts brown, excepting at the tip, which is white ; under wing-coverts and axillaries
orange-buff; quills dusky brown below, ashy-fulvous along the inner web. Total length 9 inches,
culmen 0*95, wing 4*7, tail 3*5, tarsus T3.
Adult female. Similar to the male. Total length 9 inches, culmen 0'9, wing 4-5, tail 3'2,
tarsus 1*35.
The descriptions have been taken from a pair of specimens from Grenada in the Salvin-Godman
Collection. Mr. Seebohm did not figure the species, probably because there were no examples of the
species in English museums at the time he was engaged on this work. [R. B. S.]
