T H E figure of this d e l i c a t e l i t t l e bulb was taken from a p l a n t in t h e H i b b e r t i a n Collection, which had
been imported in t h e la ft, and flowered in February this year 1801. It is a tender plant, and the
roots a r e very fabject to decay after flowering, for which reafon, they fliould be removed from the pot
before the leaves are q u i t e decayed. Mr. Allen informs us he has kept it, in t h e greenhoufe, with
t h e o t h e r Cape bulbs, planted in l i g h t fandy peat earth.
