and we much queilion, whether i t was ever fi-en in Britain prior t o that p e r i o d ; although faid to be
cultivated in 1 ?jg, l>v M i l l a r , in t h e j~ih Edit, of his Dictionary, and from thence, collated into the
K e w Catalogue, p, 2Sy, Vol. I . Jt is a climbing p l a n t , if fupportcd; but does not grow to any confideiable
height, it kept in a pot. 1 he be ft method of treating this plant, is the limit as that propofed

Browne, mutt undoubtedly have been taken from the plants which grow in the Savannas; where,
