D i f t i o n a r v , from D i l l e n i u s , in t h e y e a r 1 / 2 8 , by Dr. S h e r a r d . It is a t e n d e r b o t - h o n f e p l a n t , may be
i n c r e i f e d by c u t t i n g s made about the m o n t h of A p r i l , if kept from too m u c h mnifiurc, in a pot of
f a n d y loam, u n d e r a final] l i n k i n g ghil's in t h e b a r k - b e d . At p r e f e n t i t is r a t h e r a fcaree p l a n t in o ur
c o l l e c t i o n s , and as it is r a t h e r d i l h c u l t to p r o p a g a t e , is l i k e l y t o c o n t i n u e fo, at leaft for fome years.
